This month: down.
Next month: up.
Next year: you'll get a crick in your neck just looking at how high the prices are.

TWILIGHT TIME went where no man has gone before with their choices and I for one worship their eclecticism. Cinephiling isn’t just about trying to replicate a NYU class at home, it’s every bit as much about watching THE ADVENTURES OF HAJJI BABA while cozying a couch on a cold, snowy afternoon.

Both TWILIGHT TIME and KINO understand that. The more we lose the “curiosities and middle of the road type movies” the more we lose parts of our history and culture and ourselves.
Yeah. This post wins the day, if not the entire week for me. Bravo!

I am a bit sad Twilight Time is going down. Many of their titles were out of my realm of interest, but I've owned a few over the years, and they did have some classics. Their releases have always been solid, though they were admittedly high-priced given what some of them offered in terms of bonus features. I just ordered The Boston Strangler, Whirlpool, and The Doll of Satan directly from them last night, and got Peyton Place at Screen Archives (finally upgrading the DVD, which I've owned for years)—I figured if I wanted them, now is the time to get them, because the prices will most likely increase once they've officially ceased operations.

The Paper Chase has yet to be released on blu, it's been over a year since that announcement. Maybe the Disney deal buried any hopes of it getting a release on blu. I'll always wish that TT had been able to keep it and release it.
While I’m thrilled to have “Three Coins” on blu finally, the absence of “The Paper Chase” really does sting. However if another label (even one known for sitting on titles for years) secured the license before the Disney deal was finalized then they should still be legally entitled to produce their release.

Agreed. I'm a film historian/academic -- all these "obscure" titles are like personal investments to a collective archive, to me. I may know a good amount of information, I may know many titles, but there are plenty of things I don't know that others do, and vice versa -- and there will always be gaps in my catalogue of knowledge -- and labels like TWILIGHT TIME and KINO over the last few years have helped me IMMEASURABLY in widening my previously-thought-nuanced take on Film History. I can't thank them enough.

Same here. The Blu-ray was sold out a year before I started buying TT titles -- and their DVD edition was gone half-a-year before I started -- and even then, the price from the aftermarket sellers was about $100+. I think the last time I looked for one, it was for three times that.

Whenever I was in a Bull Moose store, I'd make a point of seeing if there was a used copy (of either the BD or DVD) on the shelf. Never saw one though. No surprise there.

I'm no Giallo expert, but these probably qualify:

La Bambola di Satana (The Doll of Satan)
Gran Bollito (Black Journal)
Short Night of Glass Dolls

Warner Brother - 17.5%
Criterion - 11.1%
Twilight Time - 10.6%

Is there a list of Twilight Time films that already have alternate copies elsewhere? I’m sure of this:

Christine (NA Sony/UK Indicator/FR Carlotta)
The Fury (UK Arrow/FR Carlotta)
Two for the Road (UK MoC)
Eye of the Needle (UK BFI/DE StudioCanal)
The Quiller Memorandum (UK Network/ITV) - OOP?
Wild at Heart (NA Shout/EU Universal)
Hush Hush Sweet Charlotte (UK MoC)
To Sir with Love (UK Indicator) - yes I’m sure Indicator did multiple TT titles over there.

Also trying to figure out if they ship to Canada.

Have you priced the same items on Screenarchivesentertainment.com?

Sometimes the international shipping is cheaper there which balances the slightly higher current prices

The UK disc of Quiller is a truly disgracefully bad transfer, as is the French. TT's remastered release is a thing of beauty and anyone on the fence should grab it while they can.

Samuel Fuller's House Of Bamboo and Hell And High Water were also released by Eureka in the UK as part of a boxset called "Fuller At Fox", which includes a further three films.

I haven’t seen reviews of the European discs of Quiller how awful even is it?

That box set has 5 films, but the database only lists 4

I reviewed it here - check the customer reviews for the UK disc listing. Think snowstorms and flickering lightbulbs.

TT's disc is superb even though it has fewer extras.

Yes, there are 5: Forty Guns, House Of Bamboo, Hell And High Water, Pickup On South Street, and Fixed Bayonets.
I should add there's a booklet included in the set too.

With the shipping cost for three blu-rays being $28.95 to Switzerland TT is no option for me anymore, not even with the $6.95. SAE is $10 "cheaper"... (TT was $18 for 4 discs in 2016).
