But without Nick, Julie, and Brian involved, it just seems (so far) like TINO (Twilight In Name Only). I'm willing to give them the benefit of the doubt, but we'll see how it goes from here.
TT in their first e-mail saying they were going out of business said that SAE was taking over the label, so I don't think it was really a shock or anything. They later edited their e-mail to remove that tidbit, but I certainly think it was planned.

And it's a shame that they're not all involved, though I'm glad Julie Kirgo isn't. Her liner notes aren't particularly interesting, and on commentaries, she hogs the microphone time, speaks so much louder than everyone else, cuts people off and finishes their sentences to validate her own opinions, provides minimal actual analytical information, and just praises and says how this is amazing and that is amazing without ever digging into why it is. I'm not expert on films, but I can do a commentary just as well as her, if all I would have to do is say, "Oh my god, Fritz Lang is just a master - he creates such complex and beautiful films. I love everything he does."

I'm not saying this was a surprise. I knew it was at least being considered, and seemed inevitable. But it's been six months, and while I understand that there are certain various business and legal hurdles, and a need to get duck in a row, I was beginning to think maybe it was more wishful thinking than a likelihood.

At any rate, it just feels more like -- to use a bizarre example -- a reboot of the Pink Panther series without Blake Edwards and Peter Sellers involved (and, yes, I do know that that actually happened).

Can't say I agree with your opinion of Julie Kirgo. Whenever I'd get a batch of TT releases, even though it might be a while before I got around to watching them, I always read her booklet essays right off the bat. But, opinions is opinions. It's all good.

You’re not alone in feeling this way. Without the involvement of those three, it just won’t be the same Twilight Time...

To each his own. I'm glad that at least some other people enjoy her work

Does anyone know what's the status for Manhattan Murder Mystery? Perhaps the main list in the first post hasn't been updated in a while because it doesn't appear to be in the OOP section but I can't find it on Screen Archives. Has it recently gone OOP?

Looks like it. Can't see on the full list of BluRays available from SAE.

What’s your most sought after OOP title? For me it’s 9 to 5 as there isn’t really an alternative.

Since Twilight is now going into 2021, shouldn't the thread title be edited to reflect that?

SAE announced two new titles in the TT line for 2021. So the thread should drop the release schedule part of 2011-2020 as the TT line is active again with new films.

Probably "The Story of Adele H." and "Zulu" (I am aware of the international Paramount release for the latter but it looks fugly compared to the TT). I managed to acquire my big OOP wants (the two Flint films, "Drums Along the Mohawk", "Hombre", "Jane Eyre", and "The Killer Elite") over these past two years for reasonable prices or I bought fine alternatives ("Violent Saturday").

Yep. That was one I missed, because I mistakenly overlooked it thinking it was in one of the arrow sets. That and Gun Fury are the 2 that I keep trying to find at decent prices. MMM moreso than GF as it is still pretty close to retail.

There are two legit, affordable, releases from Sony that were released in Italy and Spain:

Looks like the Koch release of Mohawk mirrors the Twilight Time. The NSM for The Killer Elite also does for the most part, besides the lack of Noon Wine.

Adele H, Jane Eyre would be fantastic to get

I saw one of those during a search on eBay and just assumed it was one of the spanish bootlegs that have been released for some of the other TT titles.

I think more people would notice if the title was changed to "(2011-2020, 2021- )". If you delete it, people who haven't heard that it's active again probably won't think "Now that it doesn't say anything at all, that must mean it's active."
