Considering what a nightmarish production it was, Fox would probably like to forget the movie even exists. They ran through three directors: Milcho Manchevski lasted a couple of weeks after he claimed the studio seemed more interested in changing the budget and renegotiating his contract than letting him make the movie, the studio tried to bring in Raja Gosnell only for some of the stars to threaten to walk off the picture in protest and then it had to shut down for a couple of weeks before Antonia Bird took over and faced almost exactly the same problems Manchevski had. Then they took the film out of her hands, re-edited it and it got poor reviews and bombed anyway, pretty much derailing Bird's own big screen career (she's never made another feature and only got one TV gig in the following four years). It's a miracle the film turned out as well as it did, but it's hard to see Fox ever wanting to revisit it or it selling that well for an indie label.

Not sure if it has been brought up, but the following is a post by Ms. Kirgo at TT's FB in response to a question about re-licensing Body Double for another 3,000 limited run:

Has anyone heard anything about the 2 Sinbad fims coming from another company?
I feel extremely stupid that I bouth the Fury from TT. the new Arrow release has excellent picture quality, loads of extras, and also includes the isolated score. (not to mention the much lower price of course) Does anyone know why the company that owns the film gave another master to USA and another to Europe? |

Is The Fury region free? I'd be more inclined importing it if it is. |

I'm assuming the 2 Sinbad films coming from TT should have good picture quality since they're coming from Sony and they seem provide better transfers than Fox who did The Fury. If anything if another disc comes out for the Sinbad films somewhere else, I would assume the picture quality would either be the same or worse.

I didn't say you were going to get back what you paid for it but you should get pretty close which you can't say for all blu-rays.
