Yeah I googled a bit, and these seem to be the poster/flyer used in Japan.

It is a great film. When TT announced it, it was the most pleasant surprise I think I've gotten from any of TT's announcements. I tend to delay on ordering any TT titles, but that's one I think I'll order right off the bat.

I think next month I'm going to order the titles I want the day after the announcements and see when I get a shipping notice. As an experiment.

I'm delighted about Love and Death for 2015?
Any chance TT might release Interiors (1978)
Or Stardust Memories (1980)?

I think they have like 15 Woody titles coming. Or total including the ones they've released already.

I really would love a release of Another Woman and Interiors and Alice.

These may not be as popular but I am hoping they are in the pipeline.

There are 19 Woody Allen films that are owned by MGM (originally released by United Artists or Orion Pictures). MGM has released four of them on Blu-ray: Sleeper, Annie Hall, Manhattan, and Hannah and Her Sisters

The word has been that Twilight Time has all of the other 15. They've already released or announced five of those: Broadway Danny Rose, Radio Days, Crimes and Misdemeanors (all released), The Purple Rose of Cairo, and Love and Death.

That leaves 10 more that Twilight Time supposedly have in the pipeline:

Bananas
Everything You Always Wanted to Know About Sex* *But Were Afraid to Ask
Interiors
Stardust Memories
A Midsummer Night's Sex Comedy
Zelig
September
Another Woman
Alice
Shadows and Fog

Now, whether they end up doing one a month for the rest of this year is a separate question.

Since TT also has a good relationship with SONY / Columbia I am hoping TT can also get a BLU released for Manhattan Murder Mystery. That one is a lot fo fun. I love Diane Keaton and Alan Alda in it.

Yes, that and SWEET AND LOWDOWN are the last two films of his that I really enjoyed (love 90% of his 70s-early 90s work).

I haven't ordered from TT in a long time, but am thinking of getting Heaven and Earth. Wanted to see it in the theaters when it came out, but somehow didn't get to it. First, for those who have seen the movie, do you think it's worth a blind buy if I like Stone's other Vietnam films? Second, why can't I find the preorder spot for it at SAE? Thanks.

Absolutely. Also has a hauntingly beautiful score from Kitaro, one of the most memorable aspects of the film. It has been a long time since I last watched it (on a VHS tape), but I have been hoping for a Blu-ray for years. I have forgotten much, but remember enough to think highly of it. Heaven and Earth is not an easy watch; parts of it are brutal. The story is told from the viewpoint of a Vietnamese girl, her life in war ravaged South Vietnam, her sufferings and misfortunes, and her romance with a U.S. marine (Tommy Lee Jones) that may offer her hope for a better life. The journey she subsequently undertakes is not often dealt with in film, or at least not as honestly and viscerally as it is here, when a cross-cultural relationship forged in war begins to unravel in peacetime after the soldier takes her back with him to the U.S. Through the eyes of the woman, who is now far from her home in a strange but wonderful land, Stone shows us how domestic life can be as destructive as a battle zone when a decent man struggles with the demons of PTSD, alcohol, and rage. It is both a heartbreaking and life affirming story. Arguably Tommy Lee Jones most unforgettable and best performance as a warrior who has spent too much time in the bush to adapt easily to a tranquil life.

The film is very real to me because growing up in a military family, I knew Vietnam veterans who, away from combat, were still at war with themselves.

SAE will put up the pre-order about two to three weeks before release date, so sometime around Thanksgiving.

For those who have not heard Kitaro's music, here is a YouTube sample from the main theme to Heaven and Earth, with some still images from the film. In my opinion, one of the most beautiful scores ever written.

Thanks for posting this. I first learned of Kitaro in the mid-1980s. Brings back memories as I haven't heard his music in many years. So relaxing (meditative?). If I buy the bluray, it will be as much for the music as for anything else, if not more.
