We don't have children, and, my friends who do have kids are all aged pre-pubescent/all too rapidly approaching adolescence, so, I don't have the keenest insight here, but, considering the age of the two remaining Beatles, this is very likely to be the last massive throw of the shot-put for the brand.

I would love to think, in my naive head, that alone still means something.

The project almost needed to be something of this scale, given the name, but....pffffttt...enough to cover budget + P&A + exhibitor split for four films of this scale? I'm just not sure.

Sir Ringo Starr sat down with AP entertainment journalist Liam McEwan to reflect on a milestone year: celebrating his 85th birthday next July 7, 35 years of the All-Starr Band and a recent Grammy win ("I'd like a couple more if you don't mind," he says). He shared stories from his early days as a hopeful dreamer, the musical evolution of The Beatles, and his mindset when behind a drum kit ("I'm in a blackout!"). Starr also opened up about his journey practicing transcendental meditation, photography and the deep bond he still shares with his bandmates.

Jack Thorne is a great writer, so this could be one to watch.

Man must be a massive Beatles fan to pass on both Dune 3 and The Batman Part II for this.

Between doing “more of the same” and doing something original, I think a lot of DPs would choose to do something original.

We'll he's going to be doing a lot of the same for the next year and a half, or however much it takes to shoot these 4 movies.

Perhaps the styles will not be the same between the 4 films, though? Dune 3 and the B2 will be the same styles as the previous movies. But maybe he is a huge fan. Or wants the opportunity to work with Ringo and Paul.
