Japan have been excellent, they're working hard off the ball and don't panic when they win it back, displaying a level of composure that's been rare outside of the top teams. They love to switch the play too, using the width nicely. They're certainly not here just to make up the numbers!

A lot of Asian/African/North American players have European pro experiences. That's the only way they can become good on the world stage. Still, wins against top teams are rare. Mexico is probably the only non-European, non-South American team that can compete consistently with the top world teams.
