The Samurai in Blue (isn't that a Kurosawa film?) were fun to watch but I was rooting for Belgium and pray they can find a way to kick the living $h!& out of Brazil.

Tomorrow I'm rooting for England and Sweden

No disrespect to Sweden whatsoever here but I don't care what team you are or where your loyalties lie, if you were offered a game against Sweden to get into the last four of a World Cup you'd bite their ****ing hand off.

Alas, it may prove to be getting to that game which is England's undoing this evening, but we'll see. Yes, I'm nervous as balls which is why the Palace Pessimism™ is creeping back on.
