Off to a great start! Peru could easily have scoret and gotten something from the game, but Schmeichel played a great game! Denmark can play much better than this so I really hope they step up in the coming games. It is a strange group. France are much worse than I expected and Australia are much better. I wouldn't be surprised if Peru end up winning against France while Denmark and Australia end up in a draw.

Point to Iceland too! Good day for the Nordic countries..

Boring first half in the Costa Rica v Serbia match i think this will be the first game in this World Cup where we won't see a goal.

Better second half and we nearly had a fight at the sideline.

Shock result never seen a German defence so open in the first half but fair play to Mexico.

I have been watching the vast majority of these live matches so far in the World Cup. The highlights for me so far would be Portugal v Spain & Germany v Mexico. The Portugal v Spain match was a goal fest of pure brilliance between either team. They were both sensational during their game on Friday night. Today's match with Germany v Mexico was really excellent. Of course we didn't have as many goals as Portugal v Spain but that didn't matter. The technical ability was excellent to see it on the pitch with a quality finish from Mexico's 35th minute goal.

Although; it has not been a positive experience for some of Mexico's fans so far. I heard from a commentator of the Germany v Mexico match on RTÉ2 today that some of Mexico's fans got injured from an incident involving a taxi driver at Red Sqaure in Moscow during the weekend. The taxi driver from Kyrgyzstan had knocked down some female pedestrians which happened 200 metres away from The Kremlin. Some of these fans were out taking photos of that building before they were knocked down by the driver. Russian media had reported that at least seven people were injured in the incident. The driver fell asleep at the wheel after putting his foot on the accelerator by accident while driving off from a traffic jam near the Red Square. He said he was working a long shift in his taxi lasting 20 hours on the road before he had hit the pedestrians. How on earth he was driving for that length of time on the road? It is just unbelievable that the driver would do such a stupid act as what he did was crazy stuff and really dangerous. Other people who could have been out on the road walking near by that location could have been injured at any given moment. No other people were hurt thankfully which is a relief. I hope that no more incidents will come up like this for the duration of the tournament. The security around Russia is really heavy and watertight which is expected to last for the duration of the tournament. I hope those who got injured this weekend get well soon from their ordeal.

Just seeing Brazil v Switzerland on RTÉ2 right now. The score is 1-1 so far with the last goal being a Switzerland equalizer.

Certainly was Tob, although Brazil should have scored late on.
