They're supposed to take you to the BRDC page, not Amazon - unless you've chosen that option - whereas clicking on the price always took one to Amazon.

For me, it opens the Blu-ray.com profile in my current window and then open Amazon in a separate window. Is that what it's doing for you?

No, when I click on any movie cover, the BRDC Deals page stays the same and Amazon opens in a separate tab. What happened until yesterday, is that the BRDC page opened in the same tab, unless I right-clicked or used control+click, both of which opened the BRDC page for the flick in a separate tab. Now those methods both take me to Amazon as well.

Strangely, the icons at the top of forum pages like this one (Best Blu-ray Deals) still take me to the BRDC pages for those flicks just like the deals page always has.

My browser still takes me to the blu-ray site profile. Try setting the Deal link target option under your site preferences.

First thing I checked, pardner. As I mentioned in my first post, it's still set to "Link To Blu-ray.com". It was set that way back when they made some changes to the site and this started happening to quite a few folks - resulting in a general outcry. The lack of any mention of the problem anywhere is what made me think that it might just be my problem or, at least, just some few of us. This is definitely one case where it sucks to be "special".

BTW, same on the Best Buy Deals page - except there it takes me to Best Buy.

What browser and version are you using? Maybe I cab check that out, if possible, to see if I can replicate the issue.

I believe I had the same problem earlier. To fix it, go to the BD.com homepage. On the top right, under "My Blu‑ray.com" there should be something that says "Amazon". Click it and change it to "Blu-ray.com"

Latest version (auto updates) of Internet Explorer 11.

That tab reflects what you've picked in your preferences - and mine is set to Blu-ray.com.

The great thing is people here who try to help.

The crap thing is a site that doesn't have a tech guy/staff to report problems to. All you can do is post to the head guy, who's so busy he won't take emails, and hope he deigns to reply. How about a little delegation of authority, guys? Teamwork?

Ok, Chrome for Android worked earlier for me but I was able to replicate the issue in IE11 for desktop. I think it may be a cookie issue but here is what I did that seemed to fix it:
  1. Click on the Site preferences link and set the Deal target link to Use cookie setting.
  2. Click on the Update settings button.
  3. The combo box above the deal bar will default to Amazon. Change the selection to Blu-ray.com.
  4. click on the Site preferences link and set the Deal target link to Link to Blu-ray.com.
  5. Click on the Update settings button.
  6. Click on the Deals link and select one of the covers. The profile should load the Blu-ray.com profile page.

DVDCompare.net says it's Region B.

It is? News to me since I was about to order it eventually even though I can play Region B titles without any problems, whatsoever. Quite puzzling if true.

From what I gathered the specs at dvdcompare are not too reliable. When I added Bronson, I found like 3-4 wrong specs, UK-disc was listed 1080i which is def. wrong, etc. As you know, pretty much anyone can post anything there
Maybe they got that nfo from the back cover, which is often not really approproiate for some release(r)s.
EG, Warner, Universal and Paramount release in Germany always region free
--given they release their own and not just distribute for a minor studio, and
--given it's not a German movie.

They do not print that nfo necessarily on their backcovers though, Universal does not at all, sometimes they might even put a B on it when it's
free

But back to Arrow, I mailed to the responsible guy at blu.de and asked to back check again, he's a very nice guy and usually quick on answer.
Will report back to you

My follow up visitor message to Deciazulado (not sure how long itll last):

Problem solved, not that I ever got any official help. You know, having to bother the very busy head man with such things is ludicrous. There should be a tech unit or maven - a little delegation is a good thing. As it was, Blu-ray Knight rdodolak set up the condition on his/a computer and worked out a solution. Perhaps you should hire him as a tech - or at least make him one of several Tech Mods.

Many thanks to all those here who helped - especially Blu-ray Knight rdodolak.

Just received answer mail, it's somewhat tricky on this one. When Arrow submitted the specs to blue.de, they said it's def. free, reason why Arrow was up to releasing it in the US as well. For whatev. reason, the US release got obviously cancelled, and the disc is by now officially B-listed

http://www.arrowfilms.co.uk/remo-williams/#details

If it in fact *is*, different story, and unfortunately theres currently no disc at hand to evidently prove.

In case you order this one, would be interesting to hear about.

@HD Goofnut, sry that wasn't of much help finally, maybe sb. can confirm with disc in player

Fall, The
US - AVC, 27,31 Mbps, Dolby TrueHD 5.1, uncut, extras, 2x commentary, English +English SDH subs (Region free) Best PQ
JP - AVC, DTS-HD MA 5.1, cut, more extras, English subs (Region free)
DE - VC-1, 18.00 Mbps, DTS-HD MA 1561 kbps 16-bit, uncut, less extras, 2x commentary, English subs (Region A, B)

Has anyone precise info about PQ / bitrate of the JP disc ?
I'm pretty sure US has better or same PQ, anyways JP being cut makes that disc not an option for fans anyway.
