Added The Constant Gardener. The U.S. has better slightly better PQ/AQ, but the DE disc is open matte to 1.78:1, which I know makes the projector crowd happy on a 16:9 screen.

Just a reminder for region "B" locked folks the region free Japanese release of The Prestige has reportedly better picture than the UK release and has lossless audio.

In terms of spec's, the JP release has a higher bitrate video encode than the US release, but the US release features a 24-bit audio track, whereas the JP release has a 16-bit track.

The actual differences are going to be small to none. I own the JP release and it is better than the UK release, and as you said, for those who are region B locked, the JP release is the way to go.

So im hearing the JP Scream trilogy is better.........true? Capsaholic has nothing. Also what does everyone think of the JP version of The Crow? The US version does seem to have DNR but then the color, contrast and framing seem to be a bit off on the JP disc.

I suppose mine is a rental, it had an easily removable sticker with 'supperclub' in the name. On here, Charlie Countryman (CA) is only listed as a BR/DVD combo, but this one makes no mention of DVD on the banner. Reversible French cover.

Cop Land has an error in the listing, USA is the DC @ 116 minutes

I have been getting the same issue for the last week or so, only Best Buy price history not Amazon. Which is really annoying for non US titles.

^ Is this the German edition with best pic/audio? I ask because all 3 show Miramax on the cover. Bit cautious now as I just bought a few incorrect editions of a few films.

There are now 2 editions of Hardware in the UK. The Optimum is superior to the Three Wolves edition. 3Wolves only has Dolby Digital Lossy.

Also, 3 Wolves House on Haunted Hill has Lossy audio even though the package lists HD
