The entry for the Danny Boyle movie "Sunshine" (2007) has some wrong info. Currently it says that the UK/DE/FR releases have a 30991 kbps video bitrate. This is incorrect, the correct video bitrate for the UK/DE releases is 24.65 Mbps, and according to BRDC, the French release also has 24.65 Mbps (https://www.blu-ray.com/movies/Sunshine-Blu-ray/126103/).
The Hungarian/Greek/Czech/ etc. releases have the higher 30.99 Mbps video bitrate. Video for the German release (from BDInfo scan, the UK should be the same): MPEG-4 AVC Video 24650 kbps 1080p / 23,976 fps / 16:9 / High Profile 4.1 |

![]() ![]() This release is region free and appears to have the same extras as the UK disc. In fact looking at the UK bit rates I suspect this might use the same encode for the movie too. Code:
Disc Title: Pi AUS Disc Size: 23,393,044,987 bytes Protection: AACS BD-Java: No Playlist: 00000.MPLS Size: 21,215,496,192 bytes Length: 1:24:22.182 Total Bitrate: 33.53 Mbps Video: MPEG-4 AVC Video / 28645 kbps / 1080p / 23.976 fps / 16:9 / High Profile 4.1 Audio: English / DTS-HD Master Audio / 2.0 / 48 kHz / 989 kbps / 24-bit (DTS Core: 2.0 / 48 kHz / 768 kbps / 24-bit) Audio: English / DTS-HD Master Audio / 2.0 / 48 kHz / 1003 kbps / 16-bit (DTS Core: 2.0 / 48 kHz / 768 kbps / 16-bit) Audio: English / DTS-HD Master Audio / 2.0 / 48 kHz / 979 kbps / 16-bit (DTS Core: 2.0 / 48 kHz / 768 kbps / 16-bit) Subtitle: English / 28.354 kbps Found a scan of the UK disc and as I thought the audio and video are identical. [Show spoiler]

I've always taken the caps-a-holic caps as coming from people with a BD PC drive and knowing how to take screen captures properly, and the current comparison for Eye of the Tiger there shows that the Indicator releases uses a source which is at least 12 years old, is dirtier than the TT disc and also has plenty of EE absent from the TT disc.

At this point I may just get the German release of Casualties (both cuts, proper framing, special features ported over from DVD), and the Japanese release of Extreme Prejudice. |
