What titles are those?

I assure you, I have a lot of them and none are forced.
You have to switch them off when the movie starts.
They're kind of "forced" in the audio options menu (meaning you can't take them off before you start the movie), but once the movie starts they can be switched off with a regular BD player. No need for fancy computer programs or for expensive Oppo players.
Just a "subtitle" or "display" button on your remote control.

Maybe some are forced but if I have some of the ones you want, I'll be able to help.

Honestly im talking about Dracula 2000 and Dracula: Ascent. Just got burned by their French counterparts as you know I read there are a couple of their releases are forced. I never knew studio canal would force french subs because I won a bunch and they never have before but sure enough when I started Dracula 2000 up and hit the subtitle button it said operation banned by disc. Im hoping ti doesn't do the same with the ES versions or I am just out of money because no way amazon.fr is giving me another refund, they didn't want to do it this time around.

Rogue
CA - AVC 23999 kbps 1080i 30fps 1.78:1, DTS-HD MA 5.1 3673 kbps 24-bit, no English subs, no extras (Region A locked)
UK - AVC 19893 kbps 24fps 1.78:1, DTS-HD MA 5.1 3740 kbps 24-bit, English subs, PAL extras (Region free)
NL - AVC 1.78:1, DTS-HD MA 5.1, no English subs
JP - AVC 1.78:1, DTS-HD MA 5.1, no English subs, extras (Region free)

Wonder what transfer Pony Canyon (JP disc) used for this since it's needs to be 23,976 fps. Anyone own it?

I'm shocked.
Now if you want me to open it when I will receive it, I will check for you.
If they're forced, you'll tell me what you exactly said to the french SAV and I'll do the same with the spanish SAV so that we get a refund for this one!
Just tell me

No, it doesn't, you're thinking of 60Hz compatible. Japan has used 1080i30 and 1080p24.000 fps encodes before. There is no mandate in any country (or at any label) to use 23.976 for comparability, it's just the industry standard.

Anyway, according to Pony Canyon's web site listing for the disc, it's a BD-50 with 99 minutes of extras. I added it to the database here:

Purchase it from Amazon and get back to us.

Depends on what you consider cheep. Cheapest I found it was 41 bucks. Not cheap but not that much more expensive than a Twilight Time title.

Mr Krekel gave a blu-ray to 88 Films which they had to use as a "master"

101 buys many masters from Krekel based on their lineup. Just Mean Guns that they got screwed since Krekel was doing a better new scan but 101 got the old one.
