Not sure. I have not seen caps on the U.S. disc. It's on the list because of the different ARs.

The various CDON portals does not ship outside of their individual countries so it is a total no go for international deliveries (there is a cdon.eu for the European Union but it only caters to music titles, not movies). You are better off trying sites like Gucca (DK), DVDOO (DK) or Laserdisken (DK) as they do ship internationally.

They don't appear to have the Nordic trilogy though, only the UK import with lossy sound. They do have the 4- and 5-movie sets though.

The 4-movie set is at a good price though.

I got mine from dvdoo.dk. I only ordered MI III, but they sent the box set with all 4. I guess that's all they had.

The Japanese re-release was remastered in 2014, and the 2015 US release re-used the encode thus both discs getting the "best PQ" notation.

Hmmmm. But the cover art for M: I-iii I'm looking at definitely does not feature the UK ratings logo--it's the Swedish/Danish logos. And the back cover has the flags of Norway, Finland, Sweden and Denmark next to the description of the movie in each respective language.

I was referring to the Nordic trilogy box set (which most likely has, or is, running out of stock at various retailers), not the individual releases of the first three movies. A little pricier by comparison but the only real difference is the slip box.

Unless and until Paramount remasters the first two films and releases them in the US with lossless, I think I'm "good" with what I have. I wish there was greater/clearer hope that those films would hit UHD BD sooner than later but I'm not holding my breath.
