Well obviously not, but if a film is going to have a bad encode or transfer to begin with? I'd rather have the lesser of the two evils and not add low bitrates and poor compression on top of it. |

The just released Double Impact Bluray in Germany has much better video quality with corrected gamma and better encoding than the us disc.
But according to a member the audio is mono and not stereo!! ![]() https://forum.blu-ray.com/showpost.p...28&postcount=7 |

Due to the recent discussions surrounding the Saw releases in this thread, I thought I would share this.
I received the Austrian Saw final edition set yesterday: ![]() My Saw Blu-ray collection is now pretty much complete: ![]() Pictured above with the Austrian set is, the Japanese versions of 1-6, the French versions of 1-7, the German 10th anniversary Saw steelbook, and the Australian versions of 1-7, for English artwork. I said pretty much, because I am considering purchasing the Japanese version of the seventh film to compare it. I may also pick up the few theatrical versions that are available. You may now refer to me as the Blu-ray.com Saw king of kings ![]() ![]() Last edited by Cevolution; 02-17-2016 at 11:07 AM. |

Does the JP disc have better PQ like better compression because of the higher bitrate? Anyone here owns it? Tempted to buy it, own the Sony one myself.
