![]() ![]() All Things Must Pass: The Rise and Fall of Tower Records US - Burned BD-R 25, AVC, Dolby Digital 5.1, English SDH subs in ALL CAPS font, seven deleted scenes + trailer (Region free) DK/FI/NO/SE - Pressed BD-50, AVC 28.99 Mbps, DTS-HD MA 5.1 2637 kbps 24-bit, English SDH subs, four deleted scenes (Region free) The BDInfo scan for the Nordic BD is here, while the info on the US BD-R disc from FilmRise is here at Rewind. Not sure how you want to differentiate between pressed BDs and Amazon/FilmRise BD-R coasters, HD Goofnut, but try as I might, I simply cannot abide them, so I waited for this, instead. A pity that it doesn't have the three additional deleted segments, totaling an additional sixteen minutes of extras, but to me, the Universal is the clear winner, since it's pressed, dual-layered, and has lossless audio as well as proper English SDH subs (not ALL CAPS, as the FilmRise apparently does) for the feature and its deleted segments. I really enjoyed the documentary, by the way, so this is well worth the purchase, particularly as there are some great songs on the soundtrack. A great little under-the-radar Blu-ray from Universal Nordic. ![]() |

Some requested updates. (Adding more countries. Making notes if a title is BD25, BD50, or BD-R?)
12 Angry Men - UK release is the same as DE/AU? Still MGM. A Beautiful Mind - is the UK release the same as the DE one? The Age of Innocence - Also released in JP and other countries. Same disc. AMERICAN PSYCHO - For the UK 15th Anniversary Edtion. Please make a note of it as the release prior I see is still available from Amazon UK. In fact there's far too many to make note of for one post. |

I fixed American Pyscho. As far as other ones go I only post countries that have been confirmed. Just because a title is released by the same studio in different countries does not necessarily mean that it will contain identical transfers. |

because many people wont want BDR or single layer discs and the information is important to them, especially if they have player that may not play BDR, the single vs dual layer is just good information to have

As long as you know the bit rate, why does it matter if it's a single or dual layer disc? I agree with the BD-R thing, but I think HD just added a listing like that, so I believe they're already doing that.

No you haven't been. The listings for titles now state how discs are BD25, BD50, and/or BD-R.
Maybe I could contribute more to the database since I have an ASUS BW-12B1ST Burner on my computer. I use both what the drive says for filesize and BDInfo. Even though I was hoping this site would give a run-down for exact disc sizes for each release individually. Since listing that information for Boxsets would get very overwhelming. But I have a folder on my computer where I've taken screenshots, cropped them where only the disc and the filesize showed up, saved as PNG and quite organized. Even used the images hosted at postimg.org for Contributions to this site. Some can technically be BD50 even if a disc is 25.7GB which is encroaching a single layered Blu-ray disc. BD25s are 23.3GB. I know this since I buy spindles of them. Especially for films or TV Shows with an HD master available but hasn't been released anywhere on the planet. Especially with regards for certain cuts of particular films and titles still on HD DVD but unavailable nowhere else. So yes I do make custom Blu-rays. It's the main reason why I browse this thread, HD Goofnut. Especially since I'd rather have a definitive release instead of having to get duplicates. Already own the definitive releases for many films in my collection due to this thread and doing the usual research at the other sites I frequent.
