Some of the caps show slightly better detail on the DE disc, but the compression is absolutely horrible: http://caps-a-holic.com/c.php?a=1&x=...2&l=1&i=0&go=1

I suppose the DE disc would be the way to go since it has the extended cut and is not OOP like the NL and JP discs.

Two reasons.

One you can't buy them outside of the collection and some people might want to. Knowing there is a region free english friendly version is nice.

Two, Child's Play 3 has a VC-1 encode and the UK version is AVC.

HD, has anyone ever said the AVC encode was superior to the US MPEG-2? I like the movie but have yet to see a review justifying a double dip.
