It isn't for me, when you get the audio in lossless quality. I would say it's worth it.

For nearly $30? No. DDDHouse had The Last Samurai for about $17 and that is much more reasonable than $26.

I have a few Japanese discs I'd like to purchase but the postage from Amazon.co.jp is so expensive to the UK I wondered if there were any cheaper but still reliable sites to grab these from? I haven't tried cdjapan.co.jp before and yesasia.com don't have the ones i'm looking for, is there any other option?

Amazon often have the cheapest discs while cdjapan have cheaper shipping but always retail/expensive price. Yesasia is usually most customsfriendy but also very expensive. Those are the places is tend to use depending what I'm looking for.
