Thanks man, for some reason my BDinfo had a bit of a turn scanning that disc and reported incorrect specs. It should read this:
Autopsy of Jane Doe, The US - AVC 25.98 Mbps, DTS-HD MA 5.1 2745 kbps 24-bit, extras, English subs (Region A locked) AU - AVC 29.98 Mbps, DTS-HD MA 5.1 3780 kbps 24-bit, more extras, English subs (Region free) Plus you spelt Doe 'Done' ![]() |

DCP was encoded in 7.1 and 5.1 - I heard it in 7.1
Interestingly the end credits denote Dolby Atmos, which as I can find online never went out as such. Last edited by Dubstar; 05-11-2017 at 04:25 PM. |

Looks like Phantasm II goes to Arrow, they are very close though.

Look at the fine text and you can see in the shout version its actually more readable and less ringing around it. http://caps-a-holic.com/c.php?go=1&a...=96687&i=6&l=1 Not to mention the horrible white clipping. |

Guys, as I said, "'Course, they're only caps, not like looking at the real thing." When I watch a movie, I watch the movie (the whole screen, as a movie, in motion), I don't pause and get out a magnifying glass to read small item numbers on boxes. Most of these screen cap differences are meaningless in motion. This instance may be different, but I don't have the bucks or time to order the Shout copy and then carefully A/B them.
![]() I own the MGM release and it was quite enjoyable when I bought it (at about half the price at the time) and watched it. I was only commenting to point out that this difference was not significant enough, imho, to justify an "upgrade" purchase - and, as both are US releases, it's not even on the list. In such cases, only strong recommendations by trusted folks who actually own both copies are enough to go on for an upgrade decision, not eye straining caps. Really, macro-blocking and other such eyesores are much easier to document with caps. Here, one man's "sharpening" is another man's "clearer" or "looks better to me". Hey, different strokes, equipment differences and all those things that apply. ![]() |
