Yea, including this one. Just did my own custom using both Koch video and Kino sound as it has a higher bitrate.

Those two make me wish I was region B ready. The one of Stallone sitting: The US cap (airbrushed) looks like he's missing or lost a lot of hair on his hand and arm. The other cap looks more detailed on the DE disc as well.

I was told the Italian Studio 4K version was struck from the same transfer as Criterion and is the preferred on to get at this time.

Is this true or no?

This can't be correct since the Criterion Third Man is not coming from a 4K transfer.
Maybe they meant "same transfer as the Uk release"?

The Italian Studio4k release was a bootleg and a port of the Criterion. The Criterion was not from a 4k restoration though, the new Studiocanal disc is and is the best version.

Hello HD Goofnut,

I was looking into buying True Romance and noticed that the info for the FR blu-ray mentions english subs. According to the media info on caps-a-holic it only contains french subs though:

The video and audio info matches, so it should be the same edition. You might want to update that...

What's the verdict on the picture quality between the FR and UK releases? FR is indicated as best and the screenshots show better grain retention. When it comes to colour it looks off though... and maybe oversharpened?
