Watched the caps on illusions. Not sure I'm seeing more detail on DE, but sure is more noise. A little sharper though. Whats your thoughts?

Wow I always though Arrow was pretty much alone on the top of mordern compression/mastering but Subculture even surpassed them on at least this title, Madman. Seeing better grainstructure and some more detail because of that.

Obviously, I just wanted to point out it is native in HD when compared to the upscaled HK BDs. Most classic films have 2K scans, so I saw little reason to specify.

Well I guess most HK blu-rays have a 2K or 1080p scan from the beginning (can't be dvd sources) but these new Fortune star restorations are pretty special I would say. Not like we usually get this kind of treatment and since they did a batch of 4K and a batch of 2K but many many other classics haven't I think it warrants the extra attention And the scanning/resolution is one thing but "restoration/remaster" is the special extra.
