It's an odd one for sure- it has better resolved grain in areas, and I prefer the colour grading, however, it does have worse compression. Shame, really- with Sony's ability and such a bitrate, one would hope for a perfect release.

I originally planned to import that super-bit edition from Japan but with the 4K release on the horizon I'll just wait.

JP MI4K BD has better compression in the second (check the sky) and third (check the trees).

EDIT: oh wait, also checked the sky in the third screenshot and that is better compressed on the non-mi4k bd.

EDIT2: you know what, nvm about screenshot 3. that one does look a bit worse on the mi4k.
