One has to remember that many entries on these list are from forums and private owned discs and not just based on caps-o-holic. Just because you won't find a better one on caps doesn't mean there are none. But some discs are missing as your list completes it.

One that comes to mind from your list is the HK disc of Ong-bak from Edko which I own which are OAR and have 7.1. The german doesn't have OAR and is a little cropped as one can see, also it doesn't have english subs which is important to many. The german also have dialed the contrast to 300%, the sky is quite obvious so I don't see the best PQ here. Remember the film is old and didn't have high tech cameras. And yes the german is a hybrid cut so none is the real thai version and since no blu-ray have (UK version is closest) so I'm pretty sure it isn't that good But all is interesting and should be on here.
(The film has been released in at least three versions: the Original Thai version (108min), the UK version (108min) and the French Theatrical Version (105min). Visually, the Thai and UK versions are identical)

I really want to see that longer cut for Battle Royal II, no one seems to owned it and found no reviews. You seen it? Capelight is pretty good often.

I used the Mill Creek release. The Sony release has been OOP for some time. The encodes are identical except that the Sony disc was TrueHD while the Mill Creek disc is MA.

Don't see this on the list and I didn't find any mentions using the search function. FR and UK BDs of La Belle et la Bête (1946) seem to be better than the US Criterion release. I have been wrong before though.

Caps-a-holic does not have all three to compare together so they have two separate comparisons.

FR vs US

FR BD does not seem to be English friendly and is Region free according to this site.

UK vs US

UK BD seems to be Region B locked according to this site.

The FR and UK BDs also seem to be darker, don't know what is correct.

There are no exact screencaps for FR vs UK, but some are close. UK seems to have a teal push but maybe that's just me.

Despite having a slightly higher video bitrate the US disc appears to have had some, likely automatic, filtering applied to mask grain and noise. Unfortunately this means the US disc is missing some finer details that are present in the German release.

The Koch might be sharper but it does have some noticeable-looking blocking compared to Kino:

I saw the German Futurepak / Theatrical Version / Turbine Steel Collection that came out in 2018 and was wondering if it was best version available, since the US versions seem a little weak. I just realized I don't own this (IMO) awesome movie. No worries, keep on trucking HD you're the man!
