There’s no way to tell without a cap comparison. I’ve seen lower bitrate encodes be superior to higher ones. It’s all about the shape of the source, any possible digital tinkering, and how the encode is handled.

Correct and the entries should be removed. It displays the Shout releases to be the best, according to criteria. These should go onto this thread too. I'll make the post for it since it'll be easier to understand.

Sleepy Hollow

Paramount put out a new edition all over Europe (either directly or through local distributors) throughout 2020 with the exact date varying by region. I scanned a French copy but its very obviously a shared disc master. When you first load the disc there is a menu with language options for English, Danish, German, Spanish, French (FR and BE), Italian, Dutch, Norwegian, Finnish and Swedish. Quality wise it looks like a slightly improved version of the US disc. The extras are similar to the US release but it drops the commentary and trailers. Region coding was verified with a modded LG player.

EU - AVC 1.78:1 33065 kbps, DTS-HD MA 5.1 2478 kbps, less extras, English subs (Region free)

Infernal Affairs seems to look completely different on the US BD compared to the SKO/HK/DE BD with US being super edge-enhanced while SKO/HK/DE looks soft. Can anyone confirms this?

Why? In what is it better? (Cause I will keep just one version).

Somebody on another site said "the GER release has a slight green-yellowish tint which makes the color grading a bit different to what it is supposed to be". Honestly I can't finad any difference in temrs of color. I just find the DE is brighter.
