I will leave the list as no release then because a SD upscale is useless.

Hey Goofnut, where did you get the info for Band of Brothers US vs UK audio and video bit-rate differences? I was under the impression that they were identical, and I looked through this thread and couldn't find anything about it. Thanks.

Default Rules for submitting?

Hi,

To HD Goofnut, or anyone who knows...

I'd like to be able to suggest added titles, since I have some interesting blu-rays that don't exist on US releases in my collection, and know of others that aren't listed here.

I know most people seem to submit with bit-rates, but I'm not sure how to get those, since I'm on a mac, and looking around it seems like BDinfo is PC only.

I suggested a few titles a couple of days back and got no response. Seeing what others have done, I realize should at least put those in the appropriate format for the master list, with as much info as possible, which I'm happy to do. But is that pointless without bit-rates? Or is there some way to get those besides BDinfo?

I'd love to be able to give back after all the great info I've gotten here.

You want to download this - https://mediaarea.net/nn/MediaInfo/Download/Mac_OS

It isn't free like most Mac apps but I'm sure you are used to that by now as a Mac owner Unfortunately I can't give you more info than that as I'm waiting for my external blu-ray drive to turn up before I can test it out.

If you look at the screenshots the app appears to give the correct information required for this thread

Yeah, you will need the MAC program posted above. You will also need AnyDVD HD if you plan to do screen captures.

If you use MakeMKV for Mac OS X you should be able to rip blu-ray discs for free. Be sure to use the full disc backup option. BDInfo is a type of Windows program called a ".NET application". If you install the Mono open source .NET run-time you should be able to run BDInfo on a Mac as well. Looking quickly on Google suggested that people have had decent luck using the Mono run-time to run BDInfo on OS X.

Thanks all! Should have known if I asked here I'd get a number of useful replies. Will hopefully have a good number of discs to share info about in the coming days.

Anyone have a scan of the Korean Slumdog Millionaire (preferably the Digi/CoffeeBook). Swore I saw it listed as the best transfer, highest bitrate somewhere.

Thank you, but from what I've seen there is no US version on caps-a-holic, and the information you have listed in this thread for the US version is exactly the same as the information shown for the UK version on caps-a-holic. >link<

Anyone know of the cover art for the DE Black Hawk Down disc with the best PQ?
Or do I wait for a 4k Sony remaster?

Also Kingdom Of Heaven? Is there a region b version of the remaster in English

Just to point out with regards to the amaray DE release of Black Hawk Down, is that it has reversible artwork, both sides include the FSK rating logo.

There are two SteelBook releases, one includes a DVD copy and one amaray release, all 3 feature the same Blu-ray disc.
