You'd be right. Unless you put your face up to the screen, the Sony and the Universum discs look fairly similar, (probably the same master).

It's worth having the German disc for the extras, though.

I feel we are getting a remaster, it's one of their most re-released movies!

It's possible. The 15 year anniversary is next year.

Just an update for Black Hawk Down.

I own the Denmark blu-ray and although it clearly shows Region B all over the cover and disc, I can confirm it plays just fine in my Region A Sony player.

Aswell it has byfar the best picture quality of any release I've seen in motion and I've owned all copies at one point or another. Plus 7.1 audio, no english subs.

Will update with bonus content if requested.

Word on the street (or more precisely the UK & Ireland subforum) is that Fox couldn't licence the A&E documentaries for use outside of the US which is why the US film disc is region free and the extras disc is locked. So if it does come to Europe, it won't have all the extras the US has, unless Fox work their disagreements out.

Although there appears to be a Japanese release out soon, so maybe it's just Europe they had licensing issues for (or perhaps they've resolved them).

The Danish/Scandinavian release differs slightly in colour to the DE and Sony release (the Danish release seems to have a cooler/bluish push), detail is the same, but compression isn't as good as the DE release.

This film was given a 5.1 mix, the 7.1 track is just duplicate/matrixed information.

The Scandinavian's and their 7.1 mixes are nearly as curious as the Germans and their cheap 3D conversions.

I don't believe the Scandinavian distributors made a lot of 7.1 remixes. You know, Lionsgate made many 7.1 remixes of films mixed in 5.1 . Now, they are doing continuing doing it with Dolby Atmos remixes of films. John Wick is said to be one.

Well Fox did release it in the Czech Republic with the bonus disc included, as seen here, so the license rumor doesn't hold water.

The Italian release has all the extras though I think.

The original rumour I'd heard suggested that the Czech Republic (or somewhere like that) tried to release it, ran into licensing issues with the extra in question and then pulled the release whilst they were sorted out. But yeah, probably horseshit. Nice to know there's a region B disc avaliable.

No, I don't think it has the A&E extra. But yeah, what I heard was probably a load of crap.

Default New Zealand Blu-ray specs

If I understand what you want, I have at least 27 New Zealand titles that you do not have in your list. Additionally, of the six you do list, most have small informational errors.
I am rather new here and am also 77, so please let me know if I should just list the titles or also list the details, such as you have within your list.
Finally, how do you want me to submit the corrections needed for those titles you already list that have errors and what do you want for substantiation proof?
BTW, there are already front and back cover images of all these NZ titles here at blu-ray.com

Cheers,

Charles
