Finally, how do you want me to submit the corrections needed for those titles you already list that have errors and what do you want for substantiation proof?
BTW, there are already front and back cover images of all these NZ titles here at blu-ray.com

Cheers,

If your specs are coming from the covers and not the discs themselves, then please don't trouble yourself

I have all of the discs and therefore can supply the specs from the discs.
I suspect that some of the spec errors I referenced were due to people trusting the cover specs (region, subtitles, etc.).

Post them up, and if they are found to be errors then Mr Goofnut will change them.

Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow
US/UK - MPEG-2 18370 kbps, DD 5.1 640 kbps / DTS 5.1 1509 kbps, English subs (Region free)
JP - AVC 31721 kbps, Dolby TrueHD 5.1 2589 kbps 24-bit, English subs (Region A) Best PQ/AQ

This week a new release in Germany by Paramount. I think it will use AVC now. Just like with Italian Job (2003). Curious how the PQ holds.

Not only that, but it will be interesting to see how it compares to the JP disc.

I have decided that I should first comment on the six New Zealand BD titles that you have in your list that contain specs that have errors, typos or incomplete details. Given that I am new here, I am also learning, and so need to know how much to include or exclude. Here is the first of the six. I will post the others as separate postings.

The US version of 'District 9' - scan # 043396292260
I think you meant to say 19.697 Mbps or 19697 Kbps instead of 19697 Mbps
You listed only one spoken English soundtrack; do you only want to list the top such English soundtrack on any given disc? This disc also contains an English DD 5.1 448 Kbps and a English DD 2.0 2.4Mbps commentary track and a French DTS HD MA 5.1 track.
It also contains five optional subtitles: transparent English, black-bordered English, transparent French, transparent Hindi and transparent English for the commentary track.
There are many extras on this disc, details of which I assume you do not want?

Once Were Warriors (AU) Scan # 9339065001990
This is a region free disc - not just A & B
My BDinfo is acting up, but the scan rate is about 21 Mbps
The English DTS 5.1 track is 2.6 Mbps
There is a second spoken English track - DD 5.1 640 Kbps
There is a third English track - DD 2.0 224 Kbps (commentary track)

Secondary/other audio tracks are not included in the list unless its the same spoken language in lossless or uncompressed format.

Titles that include both Dolby Digital and DTS lossy tracks are listed just for reference.

The list would look to cumbersome if all audio tracks were listed and would take Goofnut a long time to update all entries with such info, which is why the database should be used to see all audio tracks.

'The Quiet Earth (DE) Scan # 4260229590607
This disc is a bit of a mess, so here goes...
This is a region free, not B locked disc.
The main feature is presented 1.78:1, not 2.35:1
The disc menu has errors.
Audio track #1 is spoken German DTS HD MA 5.1 2.0Mbps
Audio track #2 is spoken German DTS HD MA 2.0 1.8Mbps
Audio track #3 is spoken English DTS HD MA 5.1 2.1 Mbps
Audio track #4 is spoken English DTS HD MA 2.0 1.8Mbps
Audio track #5 is spoken English DTS HD MA 2.0 Commentary track
There is a German subtitle option for all five tracks, but no English subtitles.
The only extras are trailers.

I have it on pre-order. Unfortunately I don't have the programs to provide bitrates though. I'm sure someone will post specs long before I could anyway, as I have to wait weeks for them to arrive, lately all my Amazon.de orders have taken longer than their specified date too.

No problem.

Have you received/watched the JP release of Dredd yet?

For these specs being posted by Kiwiphile, I believe that some of them likely have already been scanned by members with BDinfo (otherwise were did the bitrates come from in the first place), so perhaps they should be matched up before changing anything

Exactly. The bitrates need to be precise (i.e. every digit) and also the sampling frequency and bit-depths need to be included.

No not yet. I just received it a day and a half ago. My U.S order hasn't shipped, they seem to be waiting until the titles I have on pre-order are released.

After going over the specs on 'The World's Fastest Indian', I do not see any errors in what has been added to the database. I might add that the extras do include an English commentary track and that it is a 1080/24p MPEG-2 disc.

Notice the framing issues here on Exorcist II: The Heretic , anyone have an idea? Is it anything to do with the blu ray being the longer cut and the Pal UK being the shorter version? Notice the last shot in the house where Linda Blair's face is cut off while she is lying there.
