The US version is OOP and very hard to find ($58.48 on Amazon; eBay $37.00, $16.85 Australian. I ordered the German version for $11.94 (amazon.de, but my first copy seems to have gotten lost so they just sent another today.

Even if it's only stereo, that'd be an improvement. The BRDC Kino review says it's a "DTS-HD MA 2.0 mono mix" (in the AQ review section).

The Jacket (2005) from Japan has excellent A/V quality. This is one of those strange movies distributed by several different Hollywood studios across the globe- including WB in the United States, Sony in Australia, and even Paramount in a couple of European countries. None of them apparently control it in Japan, this disc is from a Japanese distributor.

The Japanese BD includes the trailer as the sole extra feature. A nice bonus is that the main menu is in English.

Due to both the DE and JP being 5.1 48kHz @ 24-bit, they will be the same, providing they are from the same source and either one hasn't been filtered.

So you can mark both the DE and JP as having 'Best AQ' Goof.

Btw Goof, you have used the German tracks bitrate.
