The US double feature release has the right aspect ratio and is 1080p for Dracula 2000 (the sequel isn't OAR however). Sadly no 5.1 audio, but it is lossless. No idea on the Japanese disc.

True, leaves my statement not all valid as well. Actually a comparison by bitrate would be 100% acurate only given same encoder, equal settings.
I mentioned also x264 encodes pop up by now, two I know of Metalhead and Singapore Sling.

Dracula 2000
US - AVC 1.78:1 (cropped) 1080i, DTS-HD MA 2.0, no English subs (Region free)
CA - AVC 2.35:1 1080i, DTS-HD MA 5.1, no English subs (Region A locked)
ES - AVC 2.35:1 1080p 23875 kbps DTS-HD MA 5.1 1624 kbps 16-bit, No English Subs (Region B locked)

Added the ES, seems like the best option. However can anyone confirm the specs for The Japanese version? It's a little bit cheaper and im hoping for maybe slightly better birate .

Are there any international editions of Charlie Countryman in the proper 2.40.1 ratio? The recent review on here stated it had been released in the US as 1.78.1

Also, this will be a very stupid question to most, but my specialty is not movies, but cars, so I have a perception of certain countries that may be different than say the home movie market. Taiwan, Russia. I know they have their own movie market, but if looking thru sites for a movie and it doesn't show up anywhere but ebay as Taiwan edition, is it legit? I know its not a yes/no answer, but a statistic. I recently came across an English subtitles Gundam Wing Endless Waltz. It was cheap, 14 $$, It was listed as Taiwan edition. I research a bit, not coming up, my contact in JP and KO said no go on English subs. With Aftermarket car parts from Taiwan, 98.9% were fake, so I have to wonder. Did I blow my chance at snagging that film dirt cheap, or should I be happy I didn't buy it now.

No idea. None of the other releases have been confirmed. No one wants to buy it evidently.

Steel Dawn:
US - No Release
DE - Just Released 3/20, Widescreen, TBD

So I just ordered this one since I've always wanted to see the widescreen edition. The US DVD was always fullscreen

Info is hard to come by and I'll post more when I receive it (in a month with how slow amazon.de is lately). Thought I would mention it for the other crazies like me that dig this flick

oh and btw, it says Region B locked, but I'll test that in my region A player.

Australia is a region B territory. The Australian version of Mockingjay part 1 is region B locked, and all of the other specs listed that you quoted are indeed taken from the Australian disc.
