Sony has already admitted that they messed up and are issuing corrected discs in Europe.

This means that the "much darker" movie that you saw in theaters was either the result of poor lighting/projection or your memory playing tricks on you guys.

It's mainly the shots inside the Sherman. The best examples of black crush are inside the tank during the final battle.

I thought Europe (like in Germany) had the non black crush version already?

Or are all the european discs the same as the US except for the german?

Can you tell us which countries are concerned by this replacement program?

There's no replacement program. The German BDs are correct out of the gate.

No, but on bluray-disc.de it appears that french subs are not available.
I can't be sure until someone who owns it check it for me

Yep. Thats when I noticed it too. Outside the tank seemed fine.
