No, it has less extras and a 5.1 as opposed to 7.1 audio track. I only have the UK disc to compare it to and while that looks good, the Japanese disc is one of the best BD transfers I've seen. It reminded me of the difference between Sony's District 9 disc and Warner's Japanese release. It's so pin-sharp, without looking artificially sharpened.
Quite a few extras. Language prompt when disc opens, but no English menu, it just defaults to English audio. Video doesn't have the DNRed look of the HK disc.

Sorry frased it wrong as I see the original 7.1 as "better" than only 5.1 even if I'm just using 5.1 myself But is JP 16 or 24-bit audio? They usually only do 16 and then I would say....worse hehe
Why did you highlight it as 'best PQ'? For any title to be labelled as such it should require proof, in the form of screencaps (or at least a few members to own a disc and to have compared it to others, where they have come to an agreement on which is best). Taking someone's word for it isn't enough IMO. This is the reason why mistakes keep getting discovered in the list. I would think that you would want your list to be as accurate as possible, so that people aren't mislead.

Should be pretty close to other releases in terms of bitrate, so any differences will be minor.
Anybody else notice how ridiculously cheap it is now to import from Germany? Their shipping cost to US might even be cheaper than Amazon.com! Not to mention the Euro has taken a huge dive in the last few years, so I can't see any reason NOT to import from Germany at this point.

It's over a dollar cheaper, last I checked.
One of the reasons why I've abandoned Amazon, for domestic orders. Walmart site-to-store makes much more economic sense, except while I had a trial of Prime.
