Tomb Raider Cradle of Life are the exact same specs of the US disc. But that Tomb Raider (2001) disc has the same video bitrate as UK disc, but this one comes with DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1. It tops both DE and UK disc.

So I just bought the french version of Dracula 2000 and Dracula ascension. Of course they both had FORCED FRENCH SUBS which of course ruined the viewing experience.

Now I know that there are ES versions out there from Studio Canal and released about the same time. So the question is, doies anyone here have them and are the Spanish subtitles removeable? It would be nice not to get burned again.

Diffrent bitrates and subs. Never seen so many subs on a US disc ever. Even if it's warner now it was paramount before and the review says: Cradle of Life is a high-octane action film, which is no doubt why the average bitrate clocks in at what is, for Warner, a higher-than-average bitrate of 26.39 Mbps.

They are using UK/EU version but labelled it US on caps-o-holic is my guess?

Regarding forced subs, if your computer has a BD drive, there is software that will let you remove the subs. I've never had to do it myself, but AnyDVD and DVDFab for example can set it up so that other software players on your computer can remove the subs. They can also burn the movies to a new disc without the subs for your hardware player. They are expensive software but I know some of the features are available for free. I've heard VLC (which is free) can also remove subs, but I'm not sure if that applies to BDs, especially since BD playback on VLC is shaky.
