Why would you be selling it if I may ask?

Whatever TV I am going to upgrade to next, my 75Z9D will stay with me regardless and will serve as the bedroom TV then. It is my precioussss...

Also, just out of curiosity, has any 75Z9D owner perhaps looked into the 3D movies I mentioned in previous posts? Would love to hear your opinions.

False. At all legitimate stores it's still $4K.

Vontv is not a legitimate retailer.

Even used ones of these still go above $3K.

I don't know who Vontv is but I wasn't looking at them. There were a couple other sites but they might not be legit either or could be a refurb. Point was it can be had at $3k so if it's a factory refurb at $3k it, unfortunately, is still worth more than some unknown person's set. Here's one of the legit refurb offers that just sold:

https://slickdeals.net/f/12049551-so...bished-2999-99

There are a few other places. One site in Maine has a brand new one available at $3,200. I have a 65" Z9D but it's not worth selling at the going rate.

So Clemdog I still don't know why you want to sell your ZD9, you must want an 85"8K. That's the only upgrade I see!

From my understanding, the Z9D was updated to allow Dolby Vision by HDMI from select compatible devices like Oppo 203 and Apple TV 4K correct? I’m interested in eventually upgrading to the Z9D if I can get a decent deal on one but want to make sure it would playback Dolby Vision on my 4K discs.

I can confirm from personal experience the display is DV ready.

Not sure I will sell. About the only set I’d upgrade to would be the latest Sony 77” OLED.

If you do decide to sell it please PM me with your asking price and maybe we could work something out this year.

Not a bad choice

You will however give up the 3D, but that may not matter to you.

What is your motivation to sell, you have a Fantastic TV? You might as well wait till you can upgrade to a 85" Sony 8K TV!

Don’t need to upgrade... Just like the Sony.

85” is waaaay too big for my need.

3D is not that good on the Z9D, too much crosstalk and flickering.

Too general of a statement. Many titles look great and I can dial out much of that.

I just thought the 3D on my old Panasonic VT60 was better. Z9D is fantastic TV, however when I had a Z9D could never seem to get the 3D to work right.

I still have 10 pack of 3D Glasses batteries. I still have few 3D movies and they can be fun to watch some times, but the active 3D glasses were just too much, they were dark and caused some eye strain.

If you update your Z9D to the latest version v6.6520
The 3D becomes WONDERFULLY PERFECT
SUPER CRYSTAL CLEAR
NO CROSSTALKS AND FLICKERING

I started rewatching all my 3D movies after the update.

I've got a funny feeling that if I update it the 3D will look EXACTLY the same, I've literally lost count of the amount of miracle fixes for 3D on the ZD9 that did absolutely **** all for me
