I don't know if anyone has had problems on their 75" with the internal video app, but it randomly freezes during playback of files that played just fine before the most recent update.

This is exactly the reason why I updated my 75" first as it isn't really an issue for that one, but it would have been with the 65". Glad I held off, will stay on pre-Oreo with the 65".

On the 65", yes, but only the internal video app. The missus uses this TV by herself a lot. Apart from watching cable and using the Netflix/Youtube apps on the X1000, she also uses the internal video app on the TV.

That's why I want that one to work without any issues. You may know how some women are when AV stuff doesn't work like they want it to...

Finally the update was available last night on my Z9D, only 5 months behind my other Sony TV

so far it is working fine.

I still haven't gotten the update for my Z9D but I did get a new one for my X900E earlier this week.

Incidentally the exact same issue with the internal video app I was having on my 75Z9D after the update, is also present now on the 900E after its most recent update (according from what I have read on UK site AVforums).

I probably should just update my TVs manually but I never seem to have the time so I wait for the updates to be pushed across. It's just frustrating because I get the updates the latest

New firmware has been released: v6.6555 (3/24/20). My X900E already got the update....waiting on the Z.

My Zed got it yesterday, and installation complete.

Still doing my taxes (I know, the deadline has been extended, but still...) so not taking the time to see yet what got changed.

That's cool. Have you noticed any difference? Our updated X900E is my wife's TV so I don't mess with it

I doubt she'd notice a better response from the remote

Yes, sometimes I had to press a button more then 2 times (no it was not low batteries) now it works flawlessly.

My Z9D actually got the update last evening. I haven't checked the response time yet but this is the fastest I've ever received an update for the Z.

now they have to figure out the issue with amazon prime app and scope movies with HDR, the black bars are pure gray.
