Does this affect PS3 with DTS HD ma or no cuz it decodes it internally

Thanks guys. I have downloaded the update. So i need an optical cable?? Will need to pick one up.

BTW when i press the display and then standby it gives "no signal".

i would double check the avs forums for your unit on exactly how to display the dsp version. maybe its different for yours since the dsp update is also different.

for ps3 users, no, it doesnt affect you since the ps3 internally decodes. this is why its called bitstream bomb. but i myself plan on getting another unit that bitstreams and also dont want to have this in the back of my mind all the time. fix it and forget it.

The people who I bought it from have been kind enough to do the updating for me.

Should have it sorted on Saturday.
