dropped to $26.59 overnite...means you can get thos cheaper than the 1/2 price sale. Or dummies like me can pick up the two they want and a $34.04 title and still pay only a small premium to get in June.

Sorry to those that ordered yesterday.
Hopefully, they will still be that price on Wednesday when I get paid.

I am a HUGE Bunuel fan. Probably my favorite director as most of his films rank very high with me. Los Olvidados (As I have repeated more than once ) is my favorite film from his and I consider it his masterpiece. I would like to see some BDs from his Mexican period. Sure, the French one is really characteristic but his strongest output isn't there (At least, in my opinion). Here are some I REALLY want to see getting the BD treatment:

- Los Olvidados
- Ensayo de un Crimen
- Nazarin
- Simon del Desierto
- La Ilusion Viaja en Tranvia
- El Rio y la Muerte
- Subida al Cielo
- Viridiana
- El Bruto
- El Angel Exterminador

GREAT catch! How'd you find out Grande Illusion?

I have it and Jarman's Sebastiane in my BN cart, and I'd like to get these two during the B2G3 sale. Anyone got a suggestion for the third? I have Criterion blu's covered at this point.....

Do you have Fassbinder's Despair?

Fargh, neither La Grande Illusion nor Despair have the 'Buy 2, Get a 3rd Free' tags.

That would have been a nice order...

Last week I got Despair for like $11 from Deepdiscount using the 25% sale code, and also the "CONNECT" code for an extra $5 off. Might want to check them out. I believe the CONNECT code is dead, but you can still probably get it down to $16 or 17 unless they changed the price

Heh, like I don't enough stuff on enough wishlists in enough places.

Thanks for the various heads ups.

Well since those three won't ship till the end of June anyway, couldn't I just cancel my order and re-do the order at the new cheaper price?

Sigh, and none of the Jarman releases. DD did a 50% off on Kinos last summer, so here's hoping that happens again since there are three Jarmans (Jarmen?) there. Otherwise, Despair and Grande Illusion are on my watch list for now. Double feature: Despair and World on a Wire.

Thanks for the suggestion, Spiderbaby.

Thanks to the user who suggested the three for 2 over at BN. I went ahead yesterday and got them for 26.59 each because I figured they go up when SG and TGR went off pre-order (looks like both did). The 39 Steps really wasn't that high on my want list but if I decide to trade it for something else I figured it'd be pretty easy. Heck - it's one Hitchcock I have not seen and I may just end up opening it, watching it and enjoying the hell of it.

Hope you do, I found the commentary track very informative, but I was a bit new to film study when I watched it.

I got my blus today for Harold and Maude and Shallow Grave.... anyone else noticing the small annoyance that is the plastic wrapper being stuck to the spine! They need to feed these in the opposite side! Kind of annoying.

Not with Harold & Maude, but my Certified Copy has wrapper stick.
