They found a box with something like 100 slips for The Good, the Bad and the Ugly.
Sold out quickly but they said with logistics costs it doesn't make sense to do reprints of slips

Blast of Silence (1961), a quintessential Christmas noir, is coming indeed. The product page had been updated with new hi-def screenshots and a 1080p clip.

With the new aspect ratio of 1.85:1, apparently. Probably the right choice, considering the theatrical standard of the era, but I still hope Criterion can provide the open matte 4:3 version they used for the 2008 DVD release as well.

Anyone who digs this movie (and why not?) should check out The Complete Series on DVD of the early 60's cop TV drama NAKED CITY. It's very very similar in tone and style and content. You won't find a deeper, darker noir TV series from that era, I promise.

Let's dream bigger and make it the entire Vengeance Trilogy 4K box set. The Korean right holder CJ Entertainment restored the other two in 4K several years ago.

The one I got says MGM Presents in Camera 65 just before the title on the cover. I know there's at least two official releases on VHS. I'd post a picture but my phone hates me when it comes to that on here.
