I'm curious if the inevitable Janus Contemporaries release will be HD or 4K. I'm inclined to think HD, though.

I saw this last weekend and was surprised at how good it was. It is much more than a Latvian/Belgian/French take on a children's Disney, as the previews suggest.

It looks like a Janus Contemporaries candidate to me, too. And while a 4K might be better, I can live with HD, given the animation. I'd for sure pick it up.

Good questions. The co-directory of American Factory, Julia Reichert, passed away in 2022, and that likely has been one of the reasons that it hasn't been released.

Who knows about the Sean Baker titles. It would make sense to box them up in an early films of set.

It seems likely that Four Letter Words/Prince of Broadway/Starlet will be a box set. I'd be thrilled to get them and Anora all announced for March lol

This would be great and what I thought they were going to do years ago when Sean first mentioned Criterion having them.
Never heard anything about Criterion doing Starlet though.

Anora seems like a lock considering past Neon titles.

This and Withnail and I's spine numbers are right next to each other (119 and 120) - I wouldn't be surprised if they get upgraded at the same time.
