Agreed. I can honestly say that this is one month where I want every title released.

Nothing I'm really interested in, except If... Nobody else seems to notice it.

That's because it wasn't part of this month's announcements. It comes out this month.

If... comes out on the 30th of this month. I've had it pre-ordered since June 16th.

What about Chaplin? If they aren't even going to release at a 2 a year pace, it's going to take a long time to release all the titles they licensed. Makes you wonder how long they were able to get exclusive title rights for?

Would have loved a blu of these, but oh well
That is kind of odd. Why are they still releasing the Eclipse sets with no blu-ray verion?

I'm not necessarily interested in many of the Eclipse sets. But for even new announcements to be "DVD only" doesn't give me hope that the Nikkatsu Noir set will ever make it's way to blu-ray.

Looks like it's time to start saving for the next B&N 50% off sale.

Did someone say the director's cut of Zodiac went out of print recently? I picked it up used in mint condition for $10 along with about 9 other Blus from a private seller a couple of months ago. That may have paid for all the others I bought if I ever want to sell it?

Is that confirmed that it's out of print?

Eclipse sets are meant to be bare bones...little to no remastering involved = NO blu-ray

Count me in for Three Colors and 12 Angry Men. I guess no Chaplin until either December or early next year.

Very excited about 12 Angry Men! One of my favourites. Could potentially be a very expensive month, as I'll likely pick up the Three Colours Trilogy and Fanny & Alexander as well (if they look decent).

Fanny and Alexander is confirmed to be both the full version and the Theatrical right?

Three Colors trilogy is at the top of the list for me. Will definitely pick up 12 Angry Men as well. I might get Fanny and Alexander.

Great month.

Are they done? October announcements had 8 titles including 1 Eclipse set. So far Nov is only 5 titles with 1 eclipse set, so there should be at least a couple more(?)

I really hope all that "Rushmore" rage wasn't for nothing... lol

No need to go through that all over again next month.

It looks like the THREE COLORS trilogy doesn't include all the Kieslowski shorts the Miramax DVDs had, and also loses the commentaries. Guess I have to keep the DVDs. Shame, I enjoy replacing films, like THE GREAT DICTATOR, entirely.
