Is he still with us?
Don't know about that rkish, but this board has shrunk by at least 10 pages just since last night.

All of Joe's posts have disappeared. I may not have always got along with him, but he didn't have to delete everything and leave.

Gotcha...glad I didn't break down and buy the BRD trilogy for +$100, haha. I thought it was out of print for good. Good stuff. (I'm quickly becoming quite the lover of Fassbinder and want to see more of his work...too bad the guy died so young [which I just read about...I'm late to the party I guess]). Then again, I could purchase non-Criterion releases of Fassbinder, but I'll try to refrain from speaking such things in this forum

Thanks again, Spiderbaby. I'll wait patiently for the re-release.

I guess I'll jump in...though I swear we just did this

29...probably a devoted Criterion fan for only a little over a year. I wish I could have started sooner

Exterminated would have been more appropriate, as he was a Dalek afterall. But I guess so. I admit I was a bit of a jerk to him at points, but he was equally as jerkish. He did have a lot of interesting stuff to say, even if I didn't always agree with him.

I may be paranoid, but is it just mere coincidence that all trace of joe dalek has disappeared from this forum just a few short weeks after World On A Wire came out? Are any of us next?

You make it sound like he died!
Does anyone actually know what happened or where Joe went?
Did he go OOP?

Who knows, and I didn't intend to make it sound like he died. I'm just feeling a bit guilty, because I have been a bit of a jerk to him lately, in retaliation.

But then, most people on this forum have a tendancy to be jerks to each other on a regular basis.

There's something that I really liked about Under the Roofs of Paris. There's some stunning shot composition and the simple but romantic story was just perfect.

Is that a good or bad thing?

I'm concerned about the Stalinist purges that are occuring in this thread.

Seriously, what is going on? In the last couple of hours the thread has lost three pages. I can't believe this all because of members leaving...

Who else is now missing besides Joe Dalek!?!

This thread has lost a heck of a lot of pages over the past two days.

Edit: Maybe it's a ploy to get us to stop bickering with each other, making lists, and *****ing about Criterion.

We need to start talking about Criterion titles now, or we're going to be exterminated and sent to gulags!
