Is it bad to say I would have expected better choices and think nearly half of those are pointless recommendations? At least, I'm pretty sure the guy asking for Looper is joking. Most of those are the whole 'they're the best, they should release everything' mentality.

If so, my guess is they bought a replacement case (Chungking Express was originally a cardboard digipack), put it in there, and re-shrinkwrapped it themselves, selling it off as "new". Did you buy it from Amazon direct, or a 3rd party, or a 3rd party "fulfilled by" Amazon? The replacement cases have their own UPC sticker covering the actual UPC, and you can peel it off.

I would have expected more thoughtful suggestions from critics than what most of them presented. Lynch, The Fountain, Star Wars....at least Hou Hsiao-Hsien and Nelson Pereira dos Santos get mentioned

Fans of this film are in for a very special treat. It looks quite spectacular on Blu-ray. Criterion deliver big yet again!

I got mine (plastic case) at Barnes and Noble and have the same UPC.

For whatever that's worth.
