Aside from a couple moments, the Blu that's available looks pretty damn good.

After watching my Twilight Time edition of Walter Hill's The Driver a few days ago, I decided that I would move Heaven and Earth and walk a hundred miles on broken glass to get more Isabelle Adjani movies released on Blu-ray.

I recently watched the current Blu-ray of Rear Window, and I cannot find any flaws whatsoever. As far as video presentation, I'm hard-pressed to imagine how they could improve the transfer.

A Criterion edition of Rear Window would have some killer extras, though. I could see it being a huge On the Waterfront type of release.

Don't blame you mate? The girl is really something. Anyhow I was tempted to get The Driver but I thought I'd wait till a U.K. release. Most probably Arrow Video might handle it.

You don't need a padded envelope.. the discs are defective anyways. Just put them in a regular 5x7 envelope (with a piece of cardboard if you want) or a CD mailer. They are going to junk them upon arrival.

It would be quite a coincidence, I just got my Twin Peaks: FWWM BluRay and the complete series on DVD (maybe ill finally finish season 2).

Well, apparently there is talk of Stalker coming to the CC. I've heard that Kino doesn't have the rights to the HD version of Stalker so who knows...

Dersu is still Kino as far as I know, wouldn't mind it getting a release anywhere at this point, the old DVD is awful in regards to sound a picture and non-anamorphic.
