Obviously, I'm stoked for either one (just read and analyzed the play a few months ago in my Shakespeare course in college) but I would definitely be quicker to buy the Welles version -- the man just fascinates me.
EDIT: I missed the Olive release. I will need to pick that up. |

are we sure that's what the reference was? I've seen MC, albeit ages ago, and don't get the connection. I haven't the faintest idea how a spotted dog being told to go outside equals MacBeth either, so maybe the best thing is to pay me no mind.

Sure, see "Contempt," or in French Le Mepris. The cinematography and music are wonderful. When I saw it, I loved how much the film breathed and created its own atmosphere, be it in the very long apartment scene or stunning Capri.
