Will do. I haven't been down since they screened Contempt in January, so I'm looking forward to making the trip out. I might be going down for Boy on Sunday as well.

I've been asking for it for 6 years. Criterion should've released it together with Marienbad.

Le Samouraï (I know it will not happen anytime soon, but I'll keep harping on them until it does.)
That's an awesome list. The only one I haven't seen is Brute Force.

I'll add my two cents on what I would love to see in today's announcements:

Upgrades:

Le Samourai
Bicycle Thieves
The Vanishing
Ikiru

New to Criterion:

Eraserhead
McCabe & Mrs. Miller
Barton Fink
Don't Look Now

My announcement wishlist:

The Killers I can't decide whether I like Siodmak or Siegels version better!

Le Corbeau I know they don't have the rights to it anymore, but still wishing!

Andrei Rublev This one is screaming for an upgrade.

Lost in America Big Albert Brooks fan.

After Hours I could go for some more Scorcese on the CC.

Ordinary People would pair well with The Big Chill release.

It's a very good film. In fact, it's right behind Rififi as my favorite Dassin film in the Collection (I haven't seen Thieves' Highway).

I *just* bought the Russian Blu of Andre Rublev, so maybe it will be announced.

If that turns out to be true, your sacrifice will not be forgotten.

I'm going to dust off Spartacus and Drunken Angel this month. And maybe Charley Varrick too.

I'm feeling nostalgic.

I'm tempted to go back to The Hunger too but I'm wondering if that might be part of Kino's 70 title MGM/UA coup.

I hope Criterion ride the wave of the news that Twin Peaks is being released at the end of July.

It would be very fitting for a Lynch film to be announced today, given that the news appeared today about the release of Twin Peaks (including Fire Walk with Me) on Blu-ray on July 29th.

Oh, god I hope so. To hear Bauhaus performing "Bela Lugosi's Dead" in lossless audio...

But I assume Criterion would include more extras (like the Fantastic Mr. Fox which had much more extras than the regular
If be happy with The New World as well haha, but TTOL is my fave film and the current Blu is great in terms of transfer but needs CC lol
