Thanks. And you aren't as big of a elitist douche as I originally thought now that I hear you're from Louisville.

It's the fault of people's ignorance. I do however think anyone wearing a Southern confederate flag is purely downright un-American, which is symbolizing you are an enemy of the United States, arrogant toward the nation you live and you are a racist. It's not different from wearing a Swastika. It's one thing resembling your culture, buts it's another that is resembling an enemy that doesn't exist anymore. People are people, but this is just sad.

Aren't as big is right. I also like Rob Zombie films, so take that.

While I kind of agree (and will never wear a confederate flag), isn't a confederate flag mean that you love this country but not the way it's ran (which I don't agree with what confederate stands for just for the record)?

I also don't understand why people think a regular commie is some evil, bad person. They can love America and it's land, but not the way rich gets richer and poor gets poorer. I don't know. Maybe it's just me still being a young, angry adult.

Uhh... what? I'm no fan of that flag. My family lived in Missouri and Kentucky during the Civil War and stayed neutral. But that comparison is a bit over the line. I don't have a problem with people paying respects to that flag if their ancestors fought for it. If a person condems that flag as a symbol of slavery the American flag must be equally condemned for the same reason.

SShhhhhhhhhhhh, don't say it too loud. I try to re-word my wording, so they won't come get us.

I ran acrossed that Glenn Beck dude the other day on T.V. and I just got to say, what person in their right mind would listen to this dude? He draws on a chalkboard to act like his audience is stupid then he does some weird drawing of Obama and draws a line to a commie, while he spits and fakes cries all over the place to try to get his wacky point across and plugs his book. Why does he have a job?

Better yet, why is he making U.S. money off a T.V. show, while dissing our President?

I am more disgusted by the rich abusing the poor actually. I do think it's sad that some people are symbolizing a country that hasn't existed in 150 years. It's like Cow Boys and Westerns, they only were there for about 20 years and somehow some people caught the idea on and seeing what was simply a primitive time.

Most people in the world are not evil, unlike what alot of people want us to believe. I think we have been programmed to follow forms of propoganda, making us want to hate the "enemy", but no one really wants anything to do with them. This has been happening since the dawn of civilization, but when we move away from this system and all get along, I believe we have evolved as not only a civilization, but as a species. Thas was the point of Star Trek .

To tell you the truth, I think no matter where you are, people may have a preconceived notion of how people are from the movies or TV they see.

But in the South, I have always wondered if such people like in the movie "Deliverance" truly exist over there.

And sure....Katy Perry may be singing about "California Gurls" in their bikinis and Daisy Duke shorts...but what she doesn't tell you is that if you walk into a nearby Wal-Mart in California, what sizes of those women sport those bikinis and Daisy Duke shorts. So, not all California Gurls are lookin' good! Hehe....

Since we are on the topic of evil in the world, has anyone seen the foreign film "Amen"? Is it worth purchasing?

Yup, had them since they came out about 5 yrs ago (ended up with UK and US versions). Time to watch (at least one of) them. With all the DVDs that have been going out of print lately, sometimes a big kevyip can be a good thing.

YES YES YES! I am glad someone else said this. Thank you so much. U.S. citizens were told in the 50's that Commies were "evil" by none other than the people who is the opposite of a commie. Of course they will put them down as evil, so the poor side of this country don't see the truth. So they put fear in us, which we follow what the rich and powerful says, so they don't lose the money and power.

lol.

It's true. We base people off what media tells us. Kind of like other countries in our eyes (I'm talking about the people who hates other countries and never even been to them.).

I feel like you guys were kind of "fighting" over me. It felt good. Please keep it up.

Also, I grew up in northwest Georgia, for the record, and spent all of my time in Chattanooga, TN hanging out and playing "punk" rock n' roll. The last band I was in had a t-shirt that said "KISS MY WHITE TRASH GLAM FAG BLACK ASS." Wearing fishnets and eyeliner was part of the life for me back then, so it's definitely not all hillbillies and rednecks, obviously.

I think you're gonna find those types of people almost anywhere in the country, though. Hell, if I go into the local Walmart up here in RI I'm gonna see a butt load of white-trash people just like me. Go into any Walmart and you're gonna see that standard of people. Most are even scarier than anything I could imagine coming out of the southern swamps of Georgia.

We then Honor our ancestors and we love them as people . We do not keep supporting a country that is against the country you live in now. That is the difference, you love the person, but you don't the way that person.

If you are comdemning the person who condemns the Swastika, shouldn't you condemn the person condemning the confederate flag? What makes a Nazi a lesser person to that of a Confederate, or vice versa? And what makes an American a better person than a Nazi or a Confederate? We are all people, but if we can condemn someone wearing a Swastika, we can condemn someone wearing a conderate flag. Some of us have ancestors that WERE Nazis as some of us have confederate ancestors.

LUCKY.........You got to wear cool glam stuff. If I would wear that crap now, people would think I am Goth or gay (sorry gay people, I support your movement). I wonder what it would be like living back when the Lou Reeds and David Bowies was respected.
