Are we sure they're new??
It cost me around 250$ for 65 films.

lol I figured folks would jump on this. I'm only interested in a few myself, so hopefully the pricing goes through.

Great spot. In before the rise. Low probability of it happening but you never know!

Do you have an idea of the reason for this drop in price?

Well, the guy who made that mistake will not be very loved by his employer. Amazon.ca will lose a lot of money because of this error.

Can anyone who owns Canadian Criterion Blurays please confirm if they're identical to the US ones?
Because I see this company releases them:
Entertainment One Films Canada Inc

Maybe they have their logo on the back or alternate packaging or something?

EOne is my supplier at my video store I work at. We get all our product/rentals from them. The Criterions I have gotten in over the years have been identical to the US releases.

Thank you very much!
So, there isn't even a logo of them on the Bluray?

Nope. Haven't seen an EOne logo on any of the Criterions here.

To be honest, I'm gonna feel a little guilty if this one goes through:

http://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B00L..._detailpages00

Oh, they fixed it. It's not $10 any more...

Previous pricing errors have been cancelled by them - last time I got a $5 gift certificate out of it, so its still worth a punt even if (like this one) it is unlikely to go through.

It is - it's just not the lead price!

Because I see here in the database there are different pages for each.
I thought Canada would just sell the imported US Blurays.

edit: another difference for example I see.
On the waterfront is 2 Blurays but the Canadian Criterion release is 1! (as it says here in the site)
They are all exactly the same. Same everything 100%. Same cover art, menu, transfers, number of discs etc. If it's listed differently on blu-ray.com it's the site that is wrong. They do not differ in Canada or US.

Ok, ordered just 4. (i have a prepaid card, and didn't have more in my account).

But why some Blurays say ship within 1-2 months?
This is too long. And they don't seem to be out of stock. (otherwise it would say it)

Figures that the blu rays I want would still be regular priced, but the ones I don't want are CAD$3. Even from the same director...

Keep looking - there seem to be dual listings. If you start with a cheap one and use the "other items" type listings, you may find the ones you want.

Can you please explain to me, because I haven't got any item cancelled before.
I just ordered 4 Blurays.
They don't charge you at Amazon until they ship, right?
So, they may cancel your order until charge, or they could cancel it after charging too and you get a refund?

By the way, if this is an error I'm sure they will find out in 24 hours or so, right?
Because they will see the loads of Criterion orders!

I doubt they will lose as much as it will initially seem, if anything at all.
I see it as they have 2 options + the 3rd unlikely option:
1. The cancel all the orders.
2. The cancel all orders that are back-ordered ("Ships in 1-3 weeks, 1-2 months etc), and only honour the ones that were ordered while "In Stock".
3. Unlikely - they honour all orders - but considering the possible hundreds of orders I doubt it.

I hold no grudge if they choose option 1 or 2, like I said in the Canadian thread, it seems fair to me.
