Since the prices changed again at their regular it means they caught their mistake, didn't they?
Otherwise it would still be low.

so what would be the logic then for fulfilling some orders but not others?

Exactly what I was saying..

(someone mentioned before an option of fulfilling the "shipping now" orders, but not fulfilling the orders that will be shipped much later)

I'm asking you, if they fulfill some orders and not others, why do you think that would be the case?

they have "caught" the mistake and corrected the web page. that does not mean that some of these orders won't get shipped. it isn't a one person operation, ya know? even if their shipping folks are aware of the mistake, you don't know that they have the means to (at that point) check every single order to make sure that people didn't pay 5 CAD vs. 25 CAD.

this brings me back to my original point. it has nothing to do with being "fair" because no one at Amazon arbitrarily says to themselves, fully cognizant of the pricing error, "you know what? let's screw filmmusic."

I'm sorry I lost you..(English is not my native language too)
anyway, we'll see how it goes and we'll take it from there if it was fair or not.

if they ship even 1 order, I would expect them to fairly honor ALL the orders, even those that will be shipping in 1-2 months.

Well, I just got my first "Item has shipped" e-mail. So, take that for what it is worth.

I placed 3 separate orders. Even then, all items have different delivery dates.

I see.
Well, I didn't do that because shipping was high enough!
I see you live in Canada so you don't have a problem with high shipping.

Yup. And I just so happen to have activated my Amazon Prime Trial a week ago to take advantage of 2 other titles on my wishlist that dropped drastically in price. This was just amazingly good timing with that in mind.

If I get even one of my huge order that ships through at the glitch price I will be very pleased. Unfortunately my estimated delivery dates are all July 7th or later so that gives them lots of time to erase the errors.

you won't have to "see how it goes." I can tell you now. whatever happens, it will be "fair." and if you don't get your order, please don't come back to this thread and pout about it.

I remember Denis Leary had a joke (and I'm paraphrasing) "We saw Lee Harvey Oswald get shot on live TV and we were afraid to change the channel for the next 30 years"...

If these orders go through, I'm going to be afraid to sleep for the next 30 years...

The night time is the right time! I'm happy I changed my Deals to Worldwide a while ago, and always check it to see what's up.
