I don't think you're gonna find Criterion's plastic blu-ray cases, unfortunately. Criterion is the only company that used them, therefore making them not prolific enough for a case company to decide to produce them.

Your best bet is to try and find Playstation 3 game cases, if you're looking for something similar. However, then you have to deal with the PS3 logo on the case, as well.

I think retail stores would not really have many of these, they don't appeal too a lot of customers. Usualy the best place is online, like Amazon.

Barnes & Noble has them from time to time. Borders might have them. (Their availability locally can be determined from their websites. Their prices will usually be pretty hefty.) Everybody has the Curious Case of Benjamin Button.

Online, many places to choose from. This site (blu-ray.com) will point you to amazon. Or dvdpricesearch can be used to find some other options. Their prices won't be quite so hefty. Criterion.com also has online ordering options.

You make an account, it's actualy a pretty secure place and you shop around make your orders, they ship it out. It's usualy fast, and if you pick certain options your shipping is free. I think it's a great place to find DVD's or BD that are just not available anywhere else.

No, unfortunately, Amazon does not currently accept PayPal as a method of payment. You have to either set-up a credit or debit card to pay for items or paying through a checking account is also available.

EDIT: To reflect ben's comment about the checking account payment method.

You can use a checking account to pay for items on Amazon, as well. You do not need to mail in a check, it's all done electronically.

Yeah, on a slight non-Criterion related matter... Amazon has pretty much been my preferred choice for buying movies for the past 3 years!

I'm a Prime member, as well, so that means that all of my orders sold through Amazon come with free 2-day shipping as long as the item is in stock. And some of that 2-day service actually ends up being 1-day, which is a nice bonus.

I mean, where else were you going to be able to pick up the "Ghostbusters" blu-ray for $9.99 using the two Sony codes?

Now, let's try tying it back in with Criterion. All of my Criterion blu-rays have been purchased exclusively through Amazon, and I always receive them no later than one day after the release date.

Gotta love Prime. Even when I select 2 day shipping I pretty much get everything the next day for free, and pre-orders typically show up on release day. Plus you can share it with 4 friends and split the cost of the membership.

Default Seventh Seal

Just watched Seventh Seal and like always Criterion delivers the goods. No tempering around with grain like other companies so often do, sharpness and contrasts are marvellous and it looks without doubt the best it ever has. Would love to own Dazed and Confused on Blu-ray, such a great movie although it reminds me of American Graffiti which i hate and found to be boring as hell, don't know how that goes?
