Einstein was of German descent. The trunk of a car is also called a boot in some countries (mainly England), therefore Das Boot

The Criterion dvd of Stranger Than Paradise does include Jarmusch's first full length feature, Permanent Vacation, and is worth checking out as well.
Thanks, sir.

Tom Waits is one of my favorites, so that's a huge plus. I thought that his performance in Short Cuts was as good as any of the great ensemble actors in that film. It's also my favorite Lilly Tomlin role and I think they played off each other amazingly.

On that note, my favorite Tom Waits album is Nighthawks at the Diner. Man, that guy's really able to channel the Beats, in a really good way. Too bad his voice is ruined. I loved a lot of his early releases, but his singing voice is almost painful to listen to now.

EDIT:
Have a longshot theory now. E=MC2 is a physics equation. But it's coming out of a car. So, it's like a physics car. Or physicar. Or Psych-car. Or...Psych-o. And It just so happens that a particular movie about a pyscho had a plot detail involving a car. Somewhere inside was a bundle of cash wrapped in a newspaper--or, that could be seen as something wordy, and therefore "smart" placed inside the car.

Boom, Hitchcock's Psycho confirmed!

Yes! The Collection has been begging for Michael Bay for years now!

(Actually, the sad thing is that Bay is a much more talented director than his movies are good. )

The Rock and Armageddon are already part of the Collection.

Not on Blu-Ray though. The Rock's current BD does port over all previous extras, so I wouldn't expect a Criterion rerelease to be any better (or even possible). Armageddon would be a huge upgrade though with the director's cut, all the extras (maybe more at this point), and I think it could use a better master. Doubt it'll ever happen though--more interested in a studio-released UHD.

Don't know about a movie though.
The book is called Driving Mr. Albert: A Trip Across America with Einstein's Brain, which covers that road trip. I'm not aware that a movie ever came from that story.

I think I have that book somewhere. If there was ever a movie of it, that's news to me.

Honestly, how could a movie NOT have been made about this?!

Some at CriterionForums.org seem convinced it's for Arsenic and Old Lace, because a character is named Dr. Einstein (played by Peter Lorre), and a body is hidden in a car trunk at one point.

That doesn't really make sense to the clue though, unless Dr. Einstein himself was in the trunk at one point.

Edit: After a little googling, it seems a movie was made from that story: Relics: Einstein's Brain.

Read more about Albert's brain and its remarkable afterlife here.
