Also, Europa is restored as it appeared briefly in a Lars von trier clip from the Criterion collection channel. I hope Medea is also restored. I dont like that much his initial films Element of a crime, Befrielsesbilleder and Epidemic. They're off my limits and they look too pretentious for me.

Still have my fingers crossed for Criterion to get a hold of Dancer in the Dark and maybe The House That Jack Built.

its incredible! A lot better than Manderlay (which is still great) shame he never finished the trilogy!

But Dogville, omg so good! I listen to it if I cant watch it lol, love the narration!

Yeah, but they actually had Naomi Watts at their disposable for the art. It's a little harder with the 1997 film.

Well, I figured that it's a digital piece of art. From my understanding it's an image of Susanne Lothar from the 1997 film in an image similar to Naomi Watts from the 2007 film. So it's using the remake art for a new release of the original.

I'm not really the biggest fan of it myself. But also it may look a little better when the cover is all done up too.

Yeah I dont like it either lol, the US artwork I posted is so well done and detailed, its perfect, the new one looks like a fan art lol

The instagram post says Haneke passed on the art so it won’t be the final cover.
