Bleh...I'd rather have black bars on the top and bottom (I don't even notice them, especially with a black tv). Having them on the side is unacceptable...truly annoying.

Yes! Finally someone recognizes it! Is also my Facebook profile pic and I've had nothing but compliments & confusion as to what I now look like lol.

"Hey, uh, have you seen Clash of the Titans?" is what preceeds your quote haha.

so if this is 21x9, is it still classed as 1080p as in 1080 x 2520?

"I don't wanna sound like a queer or nothin', but I think Depeche Mode is a sweet band!"
or
"Lights are on and stable captain. WOO-HOO, let's see some f**kin' action!"

Dave the lighting guy is awesome, I love that movie.

I think the thing that's important to note here, is that you would only use this TV to watch 2.35:1 movies, while continuing your TV watching habits on your other screen. Which is why it will appeal to the elite/early adopters. Which is why it will probably fail.

But as mentioned earlier, does the Blu-ray standard support anamorphic 2.35:1? Do I have to "buy the White album again"?

Whatever, I'm still getting one.
